Fitting shop has its own indispensable position in all sorts of engineering workshops. In most mechanized workshops, the work is carried out on automatic machines still they require hand operation to finish them to required accuracy. So, a fitter's work is unavoidable when parts are to be assembled. For a mechanical engineer, the knowledge of fitting shop is essential as alignment of machine parts, bearings, engine slide valves and for other similar work calls for a fitter's work. An adequate knowledge of this trade is must and it takes sufficiently a long time before one can acquire high skill of workmen ship since all operations are done by hand. So, we are providing a good working knowledge of all the convential tools and instruments required for all practical purposes in a fitting shop.
